I have a few resolutions like having more patience with my children (which I have been trying to do for years. It takes patience to gain patience!!!) to start exercising regularly, cook more, be a better person all around. But the
two I really want to focus on this year are to memorize
2 scriptures a month. I had started this last year with Beth Moore and had a really good start until summer hit and everything went downhill. So this year I have a system to do this and that is... I look up the verse with my bible app. on my phone, take a picture of my screen with the verse and then as I try to fall asleep I repeat the verse over and over...I almost have Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will."NIV84. (the second part still gets me)
And number two is to
become more organized. There are so many great ideas on Pinterest and so much inspiration. I found a website that has
52 weeks of organizing your home and I am going to do it. I get really stressed when things are a mess and sometimes feel very overwhelmed so I think this will help me. And they start off in the kitchen which I think is great. That's the main area in our house from meals to homework so I want to make it a more peaceful and enjoyable place. SO here's to a Happy New Year!!!!! Here are my picture form the week one challenge... Kitchen countertops and sink. (Clearing the area of clutter and removing items that don't get used very often.) I willl not promise pictures from each week but I will try to do some posts about it throughout the year:)
